Exceptions: The recommended hotels in the city centre are within a 5–15 minute walking distance to the Concert Hall and City Hall. No bus transportation will be needed for the Opening Ceremony and the Assembly Dinner.
Arlanda Express
A discount code for tickets on the Arlanda Express train will be sent to registered participants. The code will be valid for 90 days, from May 28 to August 25, 2025.

Stockholm Arlanda Airport is the main international airport, located 42 km north of the city center.

You can of course also go to the city center by taxi, but please be aware that taxi fares in Sweden are not regulated, which means that it is up to each taxi company to set its own fares. Fares may vary and have no upper limit via the taximeter, which is why it is important that you check the price information before your journey.

A valid travel document is required to travel to Sweden to attend the CIRP 2025 General Assembly.
Sweden is a member state of the Schengen area. Citizens of the Schengen area only need an identification card, or a valid passport. Note that some EU countries are not part of the Schengen area. UK citizens can continue to travel to the EU with their UK passport after Brexit.
Participants from outside the Schengen area, please find all the necessary information regarding visa requirements and procedures on the official webpage of the Schengen Visa Info Sweden Tourist/Visitor Visa Requirements and Application Process (schengenvisainfo.com).
CIRP 2025 Conference organizers can provide an invitation letter for registered participants for visa purposes. You can download it from our website once you have successfully registered for the conference.
Please note as well that CIRP 2025 Conference organizers cannot assist with other formalities beyond issuing an invitation letter (like confirmation of accommodation, return travel, health insurance, etc.).
